It is thought that the Tri Blue
Eyed gene is a recessive gene much like in the Siberian Husky. Tri's
exhibiting this gene can have one or both eyes be blue completely or
geometrically split but never marbled. To date not much is known on how
this gene or genes are inherited. But there is controversy coming from
breeders that have been working with this gene that it could be a dominate gene
and only take one parent to pass on this gene.
